The furniture is meant to be used in the middle of the room to allow both sides to be experienced and can thereby also function as a room divider. The shape and the textile expression is developed in unity, and it is exactly in the meeting of textile and furniture that Split Personality comes into character. The sofa is padded in lanes which could be used to create a customizable coloring on the back by allowing the lanes to be changed by the end user. This new sofa is designed by Ditte Maigaard from Ditte Maigaard Studio is based on idea of differences in a relationship. It’s called Split Personality and is developed from from a view of two opposite personalities.

Patio bench by Norwegian Martin Solem

The integrated light lit automatically at dusk and off at sunrise. It lights up the grass and the area near by. Solar power supplies the light. The bench is available in different colors and as a hanging chair. The bench is made of rotational molded Polyethylen with stainless steel wires and steel frame for two people. That makes its look very simple and very modern. This bench is a perfect seating solution for outdoors designed by Norwegian Martin Solem, a student at the Danish Design School. It’s yet the concept but idea is brilliant and probably will go in production in the near future.

Recycled furniture by Boris Bally

The stainless steel hardware is rust proof. Recycled champagne corks inserted on the bottom of all chair and table legs protect floors and provide added stability. Each chair and table are made individually so they all are truly unique. Each edge is rounded to a smooth finish. Designed by well known American artist Boris Bally’s Transit Chairs and Tables are both witty and innovative. They are made of recycled street signs with unique markings and patina that were earned on the road.

The designer has transfered the concept and form of the mussel into this unusual chair design. The resulting product serves as a chair for adults and as a sofa for kids. It also features a cool pillow that could be used with it or individually. The chair is an awesome piece of furniture for people with children or for those who enjoy furniture with several purposes. It looks very modern but is very comfortably in the same time. Mussel Chair is designed by Danish designer Hanne Kortegaard for her graduation project from the Danish Design School.
